ABILIFY (Aripiprazole), an anti-psychotic and anti-depressive drug is prescribed by the physicians for the treatment of Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Depression and irritability like psychiatric disorders. ABILIFY (Aripiprazole) treatment is beneficial if it is co-administered with other drugs in the treatment of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). ABILIFY (Aripiprazole) is also useful in the treatment of cocaine de-addiction, aggressive behaviours, rapid mood swings, self injury and other similar conditions. ABILIFY (Aripiprazole) is a selective serotonin receptor agonist can be used as a monotherapy or in adjunction with the Lithium or Valproic acid in the maintenance therapy of bipolar disorder.

Who should not take ABILIFY (Aripiprazole)?

You should not take ABILIFY (Aripiprazole) if you are taking Fluoxetine or Paroxetine and Fluvoxamine.
