CELEBREX (Celecoxib) is prescribed by the physicians for the patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Familial Adenomatous Polyposis and acute conditions like pain, fever, swelling and menstrual cramps. CELEBREX (Celecoxib) is a Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug (NSAID), also called as COX-2 (CycloOxgenase – 2 Inhibitor) which inhibits the enzyme CycloOxgenase, thereby prevents the hormone Prostaglandin analogues which mediates the pain and the fever mechanisms. The following instruction should be followed to take the CELEBREX (Celecoxib): (1) Take CYMBALTA (Duloxetine Hydrochloride) first thing in the morning before you eat or drink anything except plain water. 2) CELEBREX (Celecoxib) while you are sitting or standing up. 3) Take CELEBREX (Celecoxib) with 6 to 8 ounces (about 1 cup) of plain water. Do not take CELEBREX (Celecoxib) any other drink besides plain water. Do not take CELEBREX (Celecoxib) with coffee, tea, juice, milk or other dairy drinks, which can aggravate the symptoms. 4) Swallow CELEBREX (Celecoxib) as a whole. Do not chew the tablet or keep CELEBREX (Celecoxib) in your mouth to melt or dissolve. After taking CELEBREX (Celecoxib) you must wait at least 30 minutes BEFORE: 1) lying down. You may sit, stand, or do normal activities like read the newspaper or take a walk. 2) Eating or drinking anything except plain water.
