EVISTA (Raloxifene), a Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulator (SERM), is prescribed by the physicians for the post menopausal women to treat and/or prevent the osteoporosis. Who should not take EVISTA (Raloxifene)?
EVISTA (Raloxifene) should not be prescribed for the patients with blood clot diseases like Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT), Pulmonary Embolism, and the blood clots in the veins of the eye, legs and the lungs.
